Neighbors of Del Sur, 4S Ranch, and the surrounding communities flocked to the inaugural opening of the Del Sur & 4S Ranch Community Market, Sunday, December 2nd. Over 2,000 people came to the beautiful Design39Campus Playground in Del Sur at 17050 Del Sur Ridge Rd, to shop for fresh produce, local artisans, baked goods, delicious food, kidpreneurs and enjoy a fun family-friendly event.

The market has been made possible by a team of 5 passionate and dedicated mom volunteers; Jessica McClure-Kuhar - Founder and Market Manager, Ruth Schraven - Co-founder and Market Manager, Ana Rubio - Production Coordinator, Jacki Citerony - Social Media Coordinator, Stephanie Anderson - Kid-Entrepreneur Coordinator, along with the full support from the Design39Campus and the The D39C Collaborative. This is a culmination of parents, teachers, students and community members all working together to create a fresh market in our very own backyard.

“It’s kind of a homecoming for the Del Sur & 4S Ranch Community Market taking place at Design39Campus, the very place I personally enjoyed picking up fresh produce, connecting with neighbors and creating memories with my two sons at the Be Wise Farm Stand some twelve years ago. Community - it’s what makes living here so great!” – Principal Joe Erpelding

There’s no better way to strengthen our community than to shop and eat locally! A day at the Del Sur & 4S Ranch Community Market supports local farmers, specialty businesses and our fellow neighbor. You’ll nourish yourself and your family with the abundance of fresh and healthy choices. We do hope you will come join us at our next market February 10th!

“We will expand upon what we have started and will continue to add more farmers, more fresh produce, flowers, more food vendors and anything else that [market goers] share with us that they would like to see at future markets to come,” — DS4S Market Founder and Market Manager, Jessica McClure-Kuhar.

The Del Sur & 4S Ranch Community Market is accepting applications for new vendors through their website at Beginning in 2019, the market will recommence Sunday, February 10th, and will continue to operate on the first Sunday* of every month from 12:00 to 4 pm. The market is a rain or shine event.
